From our very first enquiry until our return to the UK, the service we received was outstanding.
Our wedding co-ordinator - Michele - was fantastic, and was happy to promptly answer (lots of!) emails in the
run up to the big day. She answered every question, no matter how big or small & was always so friendly.
We booked the Tiffany package which covered everything we wanted.
The type of flowers I wanted were not listed as part of the package so I emailed a photo of the style I wanted
and the florist done a fantastic job of putting these together for us - the florist loved them so much, they have
now added them to their package as an option!!
On our 2nd day in Vegas we went to the MC to meet with Michele & give her our license & run through the day.
It was like meeting an old friend and we knew that we had made the right decision in keeping our ceremony
here rather then move it due to construction.
She was happy for us to provide our own ceremony music & was so flexible in making the day personal to us
with our requirements. The actual chapel is very kitsch and very 'Vegas' but we loved it. The minister was great
and made us feel very relaxed and comfortable. The wedding was broadcast live on the internet for absent
friends and remained on there for 30 days - I thought at approx $55 this was excellent value... Full review .The
actual day though got a 11/10, and I dont think we could have been any happier at any of the other main strip
hotels - it all went smoothly & without any glitches. Thanks to Michele Barker who made the day so perfect.

Everything about our wedding at the Mandalay Bay was perfect! Our wedding coordinator Angela
was great at keeping up with all my requests and last minute changes. I wish we would have
tipped her more. We got married on 2/23/08 in the gold chapel. I had the sheer curtains shut
because it was cloudy that day, but I kinda wished we would have opened them. I custom ordered
a red rose bouquet with green cymbidium orchids and the bouquet came out perfect! The
ceremony was a dream, the way they opened the doors for me and the piano player played so
beautifully, it made me melt the second I walked in. We got the honeymoon suite with our package,
but soon found out later the booking people didn't know it was part of our package, and charged us
extra so we are currently working on that. The room was huge and had a great view of the pool. You
also get a gift basket full of fruit and cheeses and all kinds of goodies if you get a honeymoon
package. If you didn't order a video package, don't fret. They record the ceremony anyway in case
you do want to purchase it later. Which we did! We also bought everything they had to offer,
because the pictures came out better than I thought they would.
This chapel is HIGHLY recommended!!! :)

We were married here on 2/8/06. To this day people still talk about how beautiful everything was. The

The Excalibur is definetley a hotel where you have to like children to stay, it's very family oriented and lots of
children running around. Our group was made up of young parents, aunts and uncles so we were all used
to the commotion but for older or singles I don't think this is the hotel they would want to be in. Travelling as
often as we do, we found this hotel to be very nice, the rooms were clean and well prepared each day, the
staff was friendly, the pool is great a little chilly in the morning, but nice once the sun hits it for a few hours,
the hot tub was large and clean, the work out centre had great equipment and the spa offered wonderful
services. The only down fall of the hotel room was the bathrooms, they only have showers, no tubs...not a
big deal, but it was very hard to wash your feet in the sink after a long day of walking. The staff we found very
accomodating, we arrived on an earlier flight then the rest of our party, when we arrived at the hotel our
room was not ready because we we're early, the check in staff was very accomodating and checked our
luggage to be sent up when the room was available, and sent us to the restaurant complimentary.When
we checked out our flight was later, and our luggage was securily held until we could pick it up later that
night. Both on arrival and departure the bell hop service was great, I don't think either of us touched our
luggage to transport it at all. It would be nice however, if the hotel had an Excalibur to Airport shuttle. The
whole reason we were in Vegas was for a wedding, so as most of our party was at the Excalibur, the
wedding party was at the Flamingo where the wedding was taking place. Getting to and from these hotels
was not hard, the bus stop was right out front of the Excalibur and the tram was across the way at the MGM,
yes we are little off the strip, but you don't really notice it and some of the higher class hotels like Mandalay
Bay are just as far off as you. One last note, this hotel isn't huge, but you can get lost all the halls look the
same! The security to get to the hotel rooms was great, we were asked regularly to show our hotel guest ID
before we could enter the tower. The food is excellent and a good variety between the buffet restaurant and
the food court.
