New York New York – What People Are Saying
New York New York "Fun and casual"
Had a great girls weekend away at this hotel and in Las Vegas! We were
not there to gamble, just have a good time. The casino had nice high
ceilings and was not overly crowded or noisy (very smoky though). The
streets of NY food court was perfect for a quick, cheap bite and
desperately needed coffee for breakfast. Definitely not an atmosphere of
high-end glamour, more like a friendly, boozy 24hr hang out. Standard
rooms were just fine, not the cleanest ever but a much nicer look than
your average hotel chain. Location was great for first-time visitors with
easy walking to MGM and Excalibur and two different monorail lines.
Weather was hot and sunny and poolside was perfect for those afternoon
naps.

New York New York "Not a bad choice for staying in Vegas..."
Since we couldn't fit New York in our USA trip, we thought we'd
compensate by staying at the New York, New York hotel whilst in Las
Vegas. It's not the glitziest hotel on the block but in my opinion, you
don't get as bored in this hotel (that is, if you're not focused on
gambling). There is shopping you can do, walk around the streets of new
york (take away food) or just hang out in the bar in the middle of the
casino - the one that has everyone singing-a-long to every tune that 2
guys on a piano play (it's good to watch and has a great atmosphere).
Our room was fine - clean and comfortable. We did upgrade to a suite,
but the original was ok, jus a bit on the small side (King bed). I have to
admit, I was a little worried about the noise the rollercoaster would
make, but all you can here is the odd faint screams here and there. I
think the rollercoaster runs from 11am daily. As for customer service,
checking in and checking out was quite robotic, the lady at the tour desk
could of been a little bit more helpful, she was quite cold and abrupt...
Location wise, it's on one end of the strip so if you wanted to check out
Wynn, Treasure Island, Stratosphere etc.. then set aside a few hours of
walking or catch the monorail (starts from MGM which is across the
road from NY NY). If you looking for a very plush hotel, with lots of
glitz and glamour, then New York New York is not the hotel for you -
it's a city within a city but very high on the fun factor :)

Bellagio – What People Are Saying
Bellagio 'Best on the Strip!'
We had done a lot of research before booking our hotel for our first trip to Las
Vegas. This hotel didn't let us down! It oozes with class and style unlike all the
other possible locations that were on our list. The room was beautiful, the lobby
had that airy open feeling that was flooded with lots of available light. We visited
most every hotel on the strip and it wasn't really a contest. We've stayed at many
first class hotels across the U.S. and Europe and the Bellagio held its own. The
fountains out front always amazed us as we came and went each day! So many
of the hotels on the strip are just plain tacky - The Bellagio is at the other end of
the spectrum. Service was professional, friendly and always eager to please. The
pool area was beautiful. It's location basically puts you right in the center of the
sweet spot on the strip. Let's say its close to everything

Bellagio 'Still The One!'
My family came to Bellagio the day after the Superbowl. We had no trouble
checking in, and were given adjoining rooms on the 28th floor of the West Wing.
The rooms were spotless, the beds were very comfortable, and the view was
great. There's always a feeling of true class here. The staff is wonderful. We ate
breakfast every morning at Palio. It's a great place to get terrific coffee and a
pastry. The hotel is always immaculate, despite the amount of traffic it gets. This
is my sixth visit, and I will certainly be back.

Monte Carlo – What People Are Saying
We went to get married for the big 07-07-07 and we had an awesome
time at the Monte Carlo We even missed our flight and they were 95%
booked but yet were still able to get us in and even in on the VIP floor!
Man I really can not wait to go back! I still wish we were there!

We loved the Monte Carlo and found it to be one of the more classy
hotels in Vegas. Every now and then I like to get away from the flash
and glitz and the Monte Carlo is more elegant and low-key than some of
the other strip hotels. Friendly staff were very accomodating! Rooms
were beautiful!

Excalibur – What People Are Saying
We were pleased with almost every aspect of this hotel and most particularly
the staff who were very helpful with tips to get around town and also helping
with a show ticket snafu we had (our mistake, they took care of it). The only
drawback was the smoke coming from the casino filtered into the general
lobby areas and shops.”

"The hotel staff are friendly and helpful but they are very restrictive about the
check in time and do not like to extend the check out time. The gaming potion
of the hotel is great. Good variety of games and slot machines. The steak
house was absolutely wonderful, great atmosphere and service and delicious
food!"

Circus Circus - What People Are Saying "Great place for the Value"
Just got back from Las Vegas and stayed at the Circus Circus. Was kinda
weary about it based on some of the reviews, but we found it to be a great
place to stay. The check-in did have a line, but it seemed to go pretty fast. We
stayed in one of the Tower rooms. It was clean and the bathroom was large.
This motel is not a fancy as some of the motels on the strip, but if you want to
stay in a nice cheaper place and save some money to gamble, this would be the
place to stay. The atmosphere is more laid back. There were alot of children
running around, but most of them where in and around the Adventuredome
area, not the casino part. We ate at the Casino Cafe and had the $11.99 Prime
Rib Dinner. It was Great. It was the best meal we had while in Las Vegas. We
will be sure to eat there again next time. The hotel is off the strip and you will
need to walk to get to the strip and the other attractions, but that wasnt a
problem for us. We will plan to stay there again next time we go to Las Vegas.
I think everyone complaining about this motel stayed in the Manor Rooms. We
were originally booked for the Manor Rooms, but called and got an upgrade for
about an extra $17.00 for all three nights. The Hotel was very good about the
upgrade. We would suggest seeing the fountain show at the Bellagio, Eating at
Margaritaville, the show at Treasure Island and be sure to go to Fremont Street.
We had alot of fun on Fremont Street and wished we would have went earlier
to spend more time down there.

Mandalay Bay – What People Are Saying
Mandalay Bay "Loved it!"
We loved the Mandalay Bay. The staff are courteous, though not
hugely warm. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The pool area is
incredible. The best thing about the hotel for me, was the stunning spa.
It was so quiet and tranquil; a great place to relax in hectic Vegas! The
room was large, clean and attractive. I especially liked the bath
products! The only bad comment I have to make would be that there
are not many options for getting a cheap meal or drink at this hotel.
Whilst most of the hotels have cheaper options, this one did not. The
smart restaurants are great, but sometimes you just want a sandwich!
Overall, it's a visually stunning hotel, with good service and a
comfortable atmosphere.

Mandalay Bay "Great Place to Stay"
We had a great experience at the Mandalay Bay. The rooms have just
been remodeled and they are very clean, comfortable and compare
favorably to any on “the Strip.” The bed was very comfortable and the
desk staff was unusually friendly, on a Friday evening, no less. Good
food is available 24 hours and the rooms have great views. If you like a
great pool, you cannot beat this place. The wave pool, lazy rover pool
and main pool were just spectacular. I have stayed at several hotels on
“the Strip,” and this one can hold its own against any of them. My only
complaint was that other guests can be noisy coming down the halls at
all hours of the night, but what can the hotel do about that? I would
stay there again without hesitation

Bellagio – What People Are Saying
Bellagio "Wedding at Bellagio"
We've been to Las Vegas five times and we loved the Bellagio so much that we
decided to get married there! We had a small wedding with about 20 or so guest
and they all stayed at the Bellagio and everyone absolutely loved it! The hotel
itself is beautiful! The rooms are amazing and the staff was spectacular! Our
wedding was like a fairytale!
Thank you Bellagio for giving us the most romantic wedding ever!

Bellagio "Bellagio is the epitome of relaxation"
We luxuriated at the Bellagion for 3 nights on the 10th floor facing away from
the lake. Next time we'll opt for the lake front side. On the back side of the hotel
you see nothing but buildings and the highway. The front desk staff were
extremely professional. The maid service was excellent. The Cafe Bellagio was
superb as was the buffet for both breakfast and dinner. Initially we were
reluctant to pay the $25/day/person to use the health club and spa. However,
once done we were sold. We came back every morning.
This part of the facility is worth every penny. The staff are great. The machines
are up-to-date. The location on the Strip is ideal. Wear comfy shoes if your a
walker because the distances between hotel casinos are deceivingingly long.

Gold Strike Tunica – What People Are Saying
Gold Strike Tunica "Gold Strike Loyalty"
My husband and I just returned to the Gold Strike for the 4th or 5th time. We love "getting away" to the Gold Strike whenever
possible; although it's a 7 hour drive. The rooms are so spacious including the baths, beds are comfortable and there is no lack
of good water pressure when showering. The Gold Strike is a true "Vegas-style" high rise hotel. The buffets were excellent;
have noticed nice touches each time. Dinner buffets now include choice of red or white wine (complimentary). And there's
now a framed menu card detailing each dish displayed. Love the breakfast buffet too - especially the strawberry blintzes!
Comps were unbelievably generous! I love ordering Pina Coladas (topped with whipped cream and a cherry) from the cocktail
waitresses and my husband enjoys drinking "Crown Royal" which they have no problem providing! Always fun listening to the
band at the casino bar. Can't wait to get back again

Gold Stike Tunica "First Trip to Tunica"
Being first trip to Tunica, we picked a hotel without knowing much at all about it. The hotel in general was very nice. The front
desk/valets/bellboys were very prompt with little or no waiting times. We did not eat a buffet because they didn't open for
breakfast early enough to suit our preference. Burger city was under construction so we just had a sandwich at the Deli and it
was average. Our only real complaint was the very dimly lit room. It gave the room a cheapened appearance. Had it been
adequately lit, the room would have been much more appealing. The maids were kind of stingy with the shampoo/coffee. We
loved the casino even though they had a computer failure on Friday night which caused some inconveniences. It was one of
those freak things that could happen to anyone. We thought the slots were looser than a lot of places we played.
